Job Description:	India Champion- ideally looking for someone who has been doing this > for a 5-6 years on corp side Can do 125 to maybe 130/150 base for > right talent VP level spot, could be SVP, not confirmed yet > > The overall responsibility of the ITD India Champion is to successfully create and implement a strategy which optimizes the division> '> s utilization of outsourced resources with outsourcing vendors and the Lehman India office. Specific job responsibilities are as follows: > > > - Determines appropriate plan for outsourced resources for each area > by working with the CIO of that group by using a combination of market > benchmarks and goals established by BOC > - Partners with senior managers in each area to manifest deliverables > against each outsourcing goal > - Works closely with Lehman India to ensure successful management of division's goals, while acting as India's spokesperson in the regional offices > - Manages vendor relationships (with Lehman India) to maximize quality, efficiencies, cost savings and adherence to contract terms and conditions. > - Monitors turnover, pipeline, cost saves and other metrics, but > encourages the manager-to-manager communication between India and the > local office to develop in order to foster more efficient > project transfer > - Acts as liaison with other parts of the business to communicate ITD > strategy and requirements > > > Competencies > > * Ability to work with senior management to establish and achieve goals and objectives associated with the outsourcing plan > * Solid teamwork skills to manage across regions and cultures successfully > * Strong interpersonal skills, people management, conflict resolution and communication skills are a must > * Necessary analytical and presentation skills to manage overall business strategy > > > Experience and requirements: > > * 6 plus years in technology, on Wall St > * Knowledge of technology project management in outsourcing > * Required to travel to India approximately 4 times per year >
