We are seeking SAP BI Architects for our SAP BI practice in the Industrial sector. The SAP BI Architect leads all aspects of the delivery of industrial SAP BI solutions including interfaces, conversions, etc. The Architect understands busines challenges and translates them into requirement/solutions. The Architect will design complex BI solutions; identify and implement required changes to existing environments to improve performance; lead development teams including client representatives, IBM consultants and vendors; design and implement BI data models, data store objects, info object, master data, etc. interact with customers and GBS project managers on requirements, status and issues. The architect will also participate in proposals. .
Candidate Must Have :
* 5 years of total SAP BI experience and at least 2 years as a technical leader in a SAP BI environment
* SAP BW 3.5 implementation experience required
* 8 years of data warehouse design and development in complex environments
* Strong background in all data warehouse technical components: data modeling, data architecture, system architecture, ETL, very large database design and end-user reporting
* Experience as a team lead on complex engagements at a major consulting firm
