Senior SAP Program Managers with deep experience in new and emerging technologies. The senior program manager is responsible for the overall on-time, on-budget delivery of large, global SAP implementations, for driving business development through selling new or add-on work, and for providing thought leadership to clients on technologies such as Netweaver, XI, and ESA. Responsibilities include: - Developing integrated program management plans, managing deadlines and dependencies across initiatives, and coordination of project team activities - Defining and agreeing on deliverables and milestones - Setting and controlling scope - Communicating status and vision to client management and stakeholders - Estimating project skill requirements, and then working with resource deployment managers to identify appropriate resources and manage their integration into the team - Overall team management, including regular evaluations - Project financial management - Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities at existing clients as well as new accounts to drive incremental signings and revenue - Risk management - Serving as a thought leader on new and emerging technologies to advise clients and to support the advancement of these skills among fellow IBM client service professionals - Working with both SAP and IBM's Solution Centers on collaborative development and deployment of new technology solutions
Candidate Must Have :
* Candidates must have 10+ years of SAP project delivery experience in a large consulting services environment, with at least 4 years of experience in managing large, complex, global programs.
* Candidates must be have experience in managing multiple full-lifecycle engagements with 100+ full-time project team members. Candidates must demonstrate leadership and managerial skills, as well as the ability to establish and maintain relationships with client leadership (including with C-level executives).
* They must have a deep understanding of SAP software and enabling technologies, including Netweaver, XI, and ESA.
* Candidates must have relevant implementation methodology experience (e.g., ASAP). Candidates must also have a proven track record of selling large engagements and add-on projects ($5M+ annually).
* Candidates must have experience with managing program financials as well as the commercial and contractual aspects of global programs. They must have the ability to work closely with key stakeholders to communicate progress, vision and facilitate buy-in.
