Software Engineer - (US-NY-Rochester)

Compensation: $80K - $105K / Year
Min Education: Bachelors
Job Type: Full Time

Experience Required : 5 - 10 years
Degree Required : 4 Year Degree
Travel Required : Upto 25 %
The Candidate Must have S-Secret Security Clearance[s]:
PAID RELOCATION AVAILABLE
Successful candidate will take the division's Software needs and identify what portion could be outsourced, and by whom. Specifics include:
1) Writing a Statement of Work (SOW)
2) Vetting out Software firms
3) Working directly with the Principle Engineer on the project
4) Working with Subcontracts
5) Managing the schedule and budget of the project

Qualifications:
BSCS, BSCE, or equivalent degree is required, MBA desirable.
Must have a minimum of 7 years of industry experience.
Strong C++, CORBA development experience is required.
Must have a proven background in outsourcing engineering activities.
Must have an extensive software engineering background with emphasis on C++ and CORBA.
Must have strong business acumen.
Must have experience outsourcing software engineering functions of an organization.

This position requires a current Secret type clearance.

Candidate Must Have :
* Security Clearance
* BSCS, BSCE or equivalent, MBA desirable
* Minimum 7 years industry experience
* Strong C++, CORBA development experience
