JOB TITLE: RETAIL Store Planner, NYC, NY 10010

Department: Store Planning and Construction

REPORTS TO: Director of Store Planning

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

Create preliminary plan design drawings for new store development and remodels. Negotiate prototypical standards with Landlord Tenant Coordinators, and manage changes with Architects. Track all Division Design Review changes to coordinate with working drawings. Assist in day-to-day CADD requirements relative to the management of prototype documents. BUSINESS IMPACT OF THIS POSITION :

This position will be responsible to calculate the basic requirements of capacity of store design in support of the approved CAR. It is responsible for the interpretation of prototypes to actual field conditions. Negotiating the resultant to be accepted by the division and the landlord.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Must be punctual and meet attendance requirements.

* Must be able to work overtime as required.

* Must be able to accept direction.

* Must be able to work well with fellow associates (or be an integral part of the team).

* Review all tenant package information to prepare preliminary layout drawings.

* Interpolate fixture matrix into prepared fixture plans

* Excellent knowledge of Auto CADD 2002

* You may be required to perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

* Associates degree; or equivalent from a college or technical school; or 2 – 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and Retail experience.

TECHNICAL SKILLS, CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

* Must have thorough working knowledge of Auto CAD 2002,(knowledge of 2005 a +)

* Must have basic ability to understand, read and draw architectural details related to the development of store plans. * Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations (codes).
