This position requires a leadership role in developing computerized solutions for the electric utility industry, or an architect role in the same industry. Candidate should be familiar with modern software principles and practices, with work in either the transmission and distribution, or power generation, aspects of the electric power industry. A background in control systems, electrical or power engineering, real-time or embedded systems, data acquisition, or process controls is also desirable. Familiarity with the engineering, construction, operation or maintenance aspects is a plus. The successful candidate will work as part of a consulting sales team in a defined large geography to develop solutions for IBM's expanded role in the industry, via its Intelligent Utility Network iniative. Major Field of Study: Engineering Other desired skills include: Defining, Designing and Implementing Complex Technical Solutions. Team Leadership. Ability to sell complex technical solutions to executive management. Electric Utility Experience.
