BUSINESS ANALYST( up to $90K+ 15% Bonus)
Individual is needed to work with clients and consultants to support day-to-day business activity and implementation of OpenLink products. Also will need to analyze market requirements and assist in the support and enhancement of implementations. The role will cross all product lines and include full front to back functionality including some technical architecture understanding.
Good market knowledge or previous Banking or Commodity system experience. Front, Middle, or Back office experience products. Good problem solving and client facing skills. Thoroughness and attention to detail. Previous OpenLink system experience or similar product knowledge. Exposure to various market instruments such as Fixed Income, Money Markets, Interest rate derivatives or Commodities.
TECHNICAL WRITER( $75K-85K+ 15% Bonus)
Individual will be responsible for developing documentation for a proprietary scripting API, creating documents related to the underlying database for an enterprise-level application and writing ad hoc documentation on a wide range of user-level topics related to a highly complex trading and risk management system.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to grasp technical information and translate it clearly into layperson's terms
- Knowledge of MS Access, MS Word and Robohelp/RoboHTML
- Familiarity with C/C++/VB scripting languages and object oriented programming. Must be able to read code and write simple scripts.
- Four year college degree
Prior technical writing experience in a software development environment and experience writing for a wide range of audiences from end-user to highly technical are needed. Financial/trading industry experience desired, but not required.
TRAINING SPECIALIST( $75K-85K+ 15% Bonus)
The overall functions and duties of this position consists of Internal and Client training of our proprietary trading and risk management software application. Also responsible for developing & facilitating training programs and coordinating with account representatives for training held at client sites. Assist in the development of employees, in all divisions of the company, and complete special projects as necessary.
Will need to create training workbooks, agendas, and other course materials and prepare a database for training courses. Work with system administration department to configure the training room and communicate this configuration to Project Managers. Recommendations of courses to management and maintain course attendance is also part of this role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exceptional knowledge of training techniques
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to travel 50-70% of the time
- 3 years in a training-related position
- College degree and successful completion of training programs
