SENIOR UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

DESCRIPTION:
As a member of the New York Systems Administration team you will be
required to manage, maintain and support a large number of medium to
enterprise class systems according to existing procedures and utilizing
in-house and standard Unix tools. We require solid Solaris and AIX skills
(Linux is a plus) and a working knowledge of Web infrastructures.
Experience working with HP Open View is also a plus. There is ample scope
for project work and development of new services and tools.




REQUIREMENTS:
Eight (8) years experience in UNIX Systems Administration required. Proven
project management, communication, writing and organizational skills also
required. Ability to work unsupervised, with a good understanding of
technical and customer support. Solid Solaris and AIX skills, with Linux
a plus. Solid understanding of networking and standard network
applications and scripting (ksh, bourne). PERL/PYTHON would be a bonus. HP
OpenView knowledge in a UNIX environment would be a definite advantage.
Bachelors Degree or equivalent required.

SENIOR STORAGE ADMINISTRATOR


DESCRIPTION:
An exciting opportunity exists within the Systems R&D group for a Senior
Storage Administrator. Qualified candidates must have 6+ years experience
with large SAN infrastructure involving EMC and Brocade hardware servicing
primarily Unix (AIX/Solaris) hosts. Excellent technical skills and
experience with designing and managing large-scale and complex SAN/NAS
storage arrays required, along with strong communication skills. Must be
capable of writing technical documentation, making presentations to an
internal audience, interacting positively with upper management and outside
vendors.


REQUIREMENTS:
Experience working with EMC PowerPath and EMC Control Center. Knowledge of
EMC SRDF a plus. A solid understanding of AIX and/or Solaris. Knowledge
of Linux or Windows a plus. A good working knowledge of NAS, preferably
Netapp or EMC Celerra. Ability to write scripts in an administrative
language (perl, shell scripts). Strong inter-personal skills. Capable of
communicating effectively in oral/written format. Capable of independant
problem solving, self-motivated and self-directed.

Job Requirements:

BEA WebLogic Administrator for Fixed Income Trading Systems. The responsibilities include working directly with development and infrastructure teams on building, deploying, maintaining and supporting WL environments. This individual must have the ability to install, configure and administer Web logic. Prior development experience is a plus. This individual should have a sound foundation of web infrastructure and Internet technologies. In addition, strong experience with Java and J2EE components. This position resides within the CRM Applications team and reports to the Project Manager of that team. This person will have 1-4 years of experience as a Systems Analyst working with PL/SQL and having exposure to CRM Applications. This is an internal technical problem solving position. This is a junior spot that requires some enthusiasm and a “get your hands dirty” type of attitude.

Candidates will be responsible for working with end users on their issues which will involve; analyzing business processes by retrieving data from the database. They will also be involved with some end user training.
