We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial and operational support in the areas of budgeting, forecasting, month end closes and business planning.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with business leaders to build and analyze budgets and forecasts
• Work closely with operations to develop tools and analyses to increase the productivity/profitability of business units
• Assist business units with analysis of new initiatives, programs, promotions and other business development opportunities
• Report on financial results and key metrics against appropriate base comparisons (prior year, budget, reforecast); perform in-depth analyses to prepare and present business projections & deviations from plan
• Develop ad-hoc reports using Excel and FRX

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in finance or accounting
• 5-7 years of experience within an accounting or finance department; work experience in publishing or media is a big plus.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office; excellent proficiency in Excel
• Solomon and FRX experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Proven track record of system implementation and enhancement
• CPA/MBA preferred (but not required)

This person must have strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills as he/she will be dealing with all levels of business. CPA a plus ( not a must )

Ideally:

2-4 years public acct, firm experience.

Or 2 yrs public / 3 yrs Retail, manufacturing, or financial

Reporting to the Asst. Controller

The primary lead on our monthly financial reporting package

Must have experience working with outside auditors ( such as Deloitte , E & Y, KPMG etc )

for the yearly financial close

Handle majority of entries and analysis.

Investigate new accounting pronouncements and how they relate to our company.

Special projects as needed.

Excellent communication skills.

Excellent excel spreadsheet skills.

As a member of the Biostatistics department, you will be responsible for providing statistical and data analyses support to clinical products. In the Biostatistician role, you will be an integral member of a clinical team designing clinical protocols and trials, reviewing and preparing statistical data, including analytical plans, case report forms, and clinical study reports.

Key responsibilities:
� Provide statistical support to the design, analysis and reporting of pre-clinical and clinical studies
� Develop statistical methodology to support clinical, pre-clinical studies
� Actively participate in project teams
� Write clinical protocol and statistical analysis plans
� Support Medical Writing in the writing of final clinical study reports
� Be familiar with Federal regulations such as CFRs and ICH- guidelines

Requirements:
� Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field with at least 2 years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry or Masters in Statistics or Biostatistics with at least 5 years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
� Knowledge of S-Plus, SAS, R statistical packages
� Good Verbal and Written communication skills a must
� Knowledge of computer systems, web technology desirable
