-Manage the overall infrastructure of the organization. This includes; Corporate Network, Development/Production Environment, Development Labs and IT Telephony Network for all of Verint Systems

Description:

Job Summary: Drive the planning, design, implementation, organization, and operation of the company’s voice and data communications network. Analyze the needs of the business and establishes priorities for network design and implementation to develop and modify the company’s networks and solutions. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the functions.

Supervision:

Provides direct supervision for 2-6 exempt employees and professional sub-contractors/consultants. Matrix management of additional employees located overseas may be required.

Responsibilities:

- Develops corporate and organizational policies.

- Develops long range plans for telecommunication systems (VC, IP, ICD, CC etc.).

- Lead the company’s network infrastructure to the next generation requirements.

- Maintain working relationship with major telecommunication vendors.

- Manage and control budget telecommunication budget.

- Assigns, direct and checks the work of personnel responsible for locating and resolving network problems.

- Monitor network performance to ensure circuit quality and network uptime.

- Coordinate problem resolution or circumvention with support groups, customers and vendors.

- Assist the business to define network needs and advice on hardware requirements, configurations and limitations.

- Interface with vendors concerning upgrades, installs and downtime planning.

- Monitor repair and routine maintenance of hardware.

- Evaluate and test new services and hardware’s.

- Identify opportunities for improving service delivery methods and procedures; review with appropriate management staff; implement improvements.

- Plan and implement DRP and diversity solutions.

Requirements:

Competencies:

- 10 years of experience in the development and systems administration of computer systems, LAN and WAN networks, including supervisory experience.

- 6 years of Management experience.

- Experience with Cisco routing and switching.

- Experience with Cisco IP Telephony and call manager.

- Experience with VPN’s and firewalls.

- Experience with Active Directory and MS Exchange.

- Strong technical knowledge of network and PC operating systems on the Microsoft platform.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Windows NT/2000/2003 Server OS.

- MCSE and Cisco certifications Preferred

- Proven experience in Oracle environment is a PLUS.

Retail Systems Help Desk Analyst

You will support both the STS Point of Sale systems as well as the STS host systems for our 61 retail stores located throughout the United States. Responsibilities include ensuring all stores polled successfully, downloading price files, processing EDI files as well as perform regularly scheduled computer room tasks (i.e. backups, software updates, etc.). You will also handle Help Desk support and follow-up on outstanding issues. You will also be responsible for staging, testing and installing POS equipment in our new stores.
