Overview

This position must be replaced to maintain the work level, meet client demands and improve quality in the various modules including Core, Treasury, Derivatives and Capital Markets modules. This programmer analyst will work developing and supporting these modules focusing on technical architecture. The Role

· Strong knowledge of TCP/IP Cisco Routed Networks & understanding of Internet routing protocols (EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP)

· Hands-on knowledge of Checkpoint NG Firewall Systems, including advanced functionality (VPN, VRRP, and IP-Clustering).

· Knowledge of enterprise management & troubleshooting tools (Visual Networks Uptime, Fluke and What’s Up Gold)

· Advanced knowledge of Nokia IPSO and appliance architecture

· Solid understanding of telecommunications technologies (Frame-Relay, MPLS and ISDN) is required

· Strong understanding of enterprise security best practices relating to implementing and managing enterprise network security

· Excellent technical knowledge and aptitude in the areas of data and security networks.

· Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and business needs

· Familiarity with formal project management methodologies and related disciplines

· Promote awareness of computing and information security related issues affecting the company by analyzing new and ongoing threats to computing infrastructure, responding to incidents as needed, compiling monthly security reports and supporting businesses in complying with security compliance metrics

· Understanding of intranet/internet applications and related technologies a plus
