Base to 110k

The FIX Network Specialist is a newly created position in a newly created team at our Burlington, MA headquarters. It is a staff position responsible for coordinating service delivery, changes, and support. For straight forward situations, responsible for implementing, testing, certifying, and problem support/ resolution for Network Clients. This is an opportunity to work with some of the top employees in the industry and help build the FIX Network business from
the ground-up.

Responsibilities:

  • Support team efforts to sustain a "five nines" level of availability for our Network Clients.
  • Coordinate with Clients, internal colleagues, and network vendor(s) to facilitate the following service-related functions:

o Design, specification, and provisioning

o Testing and certification

o Go-live implementation

o On-going changes and enhancements

o Problem troubleshooting, support, and resolution

o For straightforward situations, perform the aforementioned tasks.

· Follow departmental procedures to ensure timely, high quality delivery of service to Network Clients

· Ensure all Network Services database information and documentation is accurate and current.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to work in a mission critical operations and support environment.
  • Some high level knowledge and understanding of Wide Area Networks (WAN) and Local Area Networks (LAN).
  • Ability to partner with various internal departments to deliver superior customer service.
  • Work on-site in our Burlington, MA headquarters.
  • Periodic off-hours support.
  • Occasional travel to customer sites to perform on site customization, testing, or troubleshooting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree is required
  • Minimum of 1 years experience with FIX administration and support.
  • 3 years experience in the securities trading industry preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for technical troubleshooting.
  • A background in portfolio management and trading system applications is preferred.

Job Duties

Reporting to the Managing Director/Principal Global Equity Derivative Products Controller, the Pricing Manager will be responsible for managing Price Testing for all Equity Derivative Products which will include: Equity Swaps, Equity Options, Collars, Variance Swaps, Cliquets and Equity Linked Notes.

Will ensure that pricing procedures are set and adhered to. Will review and explain P&L.

Will review pricing discrepancy amongst businesses with an eye toward identifying potential pricing/financial EITF equity derivative issues.

Will interface daily with Middle and Front Office personnel, Risk Management and Sr. level Controllers.

Req

· Minimum of 10 years experience (combination of public and private experience preferred). CPA preferred but not required; Equity Derivative or other derivative product experience is required.

· EITF02-03 required

· Strong knowledge of P&L reporting and explanation

· Pricing/ Risk Management experience is required

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Access, Word, Excel) and able to learn new systems and software quickly

· Proactive and energetic with good problem solving skills

· Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to interact easily within a trading oriented environment.
